Types of Donations Accepted

Your generous donations help Fallon Clinic Foundation to fulfill its mission of promoting health and welfare in communities throughout Massachusetts.

There are many ways to give. You can start to make difference today, in the following ways:

Donate Online

An online donation using your credit or debit card is an easy, quick way to get involved. Automatic transfers of cash from your account of choice also can be done online.

Make your tax-deductible gift for the year, or set up installment payments using our simple, secure, online giving service now. Donations will be processed through the Network for Good.

Checks

Outright gifts of checks are welcome at any time.

Giving a check to charity ensures that your donation goes immediately to needed services. Please send your check made out to “Fallon Clinic Foundation” with a brief note that indicates how you wish your donation to be spent, and includes your full name, address, zip code, and daytime telephone number to:

Securities

Gifts of securities, or stock, are a great way to give a major gift without draining your bank account. And, there can be a significant tax savings to you, our donor.

If you have owned the stock you wish to give for at least one year and a day, the mean value of the stock on the date the gift transfer takes place is fully tax deductible, and you pay no capital gains tax on the transaction.

To make a gift of securities, simply ask your broker to transfer the stock or mutual funds you wish to donate directly to Fallon Clinic Foundation.  You or your broker should contact our Director with information that includes the name of the stock or fund, number of shares being transferred and how to properly list the donor’s name.  The director will then send you and/or your broker stock transfer instructions in order to complete this transaction.

Matching Gifts

You might work for a company that will match your charitable gift with its own donation to Fallon Clinic Foundation.

In some cases, the power of your gift can be doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled with a matching gift from your employer.

All you need to do is ask your supervisor or personnel office if your company will match your donation, fill out your company’s matching gift form, and then send it along with your donation to:

Gifts of Time

Changing the world…one person at a time. That is the essence of volunteering.

Fallon Clinic Foundation knows that many donors want to do more than write a check – they want to get involved!

There are as many ways to help as there are to give, including:

• offering your professional expertise to a Fallon Clinic Foundation project,
• serving on a Fallon Clinic Foundation committee,
• staffing an information booth at an event, or
• helping with a mailing.

Deferred Gifts

There are special types of investments – such as Charitable Lead Trusts and Charitable Remainder Trusts – that can help you give to Fallon Clinic Foundation and take care of your family, too. Fallon Clinic Foundation works in partnership with you and your trusted personal financial advisor to set up these planned gifts. Gifts of Property

Before donating a gift of property, please contact kelsa.zereski@fallonclinic.org or (508) 368-5498 to determine whether Fallon Clinic Foundation can accept the gift.

Gifts of property include computers and other appliances, medical equipment, royalties, real estate, fine art, life insurance, cars, and boats. Gifts of this type require special arrangements before a donation can be made.
