Fallon Clinic Foundation established the Oncology Fund in the year 2000 with generous donations from a valued Fallon Clinic patient, her family, and friends. Donations to this fund come in throughout the year from patients and their families, community members and Fallon Clinic employees. The fund is used for grants that will enhance the care and comfort of cancer patients. In September 2008, support was provided to Fallon Clinic’s Hematology/Oncology Department to purchase a new blanket warmer and magazine subscriptions to increase the comfort of patients undergoing chemotherapy.
The Oncology Fund does not accept unsolicited requests for funding.
