Fallon Clinic Foundation encourages and supports full-time and part-time study in the health professions with a Scholarship Fund that has three components:

John and Anna Meyers Scholarship

Fallon Clinic Foundation’s John and Anna Meyers Scholarship was established in 1987, in honor of the late John Meyers, M.D., president of Fallon Clinic from 1966 to 1982.

Fallon Clinic and Fallon Community Health Plan employees and their dependents are eligible to apply. The award is made based on both merit and financial need, and may be used toward study in the health professions. The applicant’s demonstrated commitment to community service, and evidence of a wide variety of interests, also is taken into consideration.

Eligible uses include (but are not limited to) a “return to school” training program, nursing school, medical school, dental school, health administration, x-ray technology, laboratory science, physical therapy, clinical psychology, nutrition, and medical secretarial work.

Applications must be received by mid-June of each year, with awards granted in mid-July. Awards are sent directly to the student’s school.
