WORCESTER, Mass., May 15, 2007 — Fallon Clinic, the Gold Standard of
Health Care, has won The United Way of Central Massachusetts Gold Award for outstanding
generosity in campaign giving.
Fallon Clinic employee donations to The United Way of Central Massachusetts include
more than $20,000 in funds, and 500 gently used and new children’s books.
The books were donated to help with Worcester City Councilors’ recent efforts
to collect 10,000 books for local schoolchildren.
“We are proud to support the efforts of The United Way of Central Massachusetts
to help our community throughout the year,” said Dr. Stephen Pezzella, acting
president of Fallon Clinic and Fallon Clinic Foundation. “Working together,
we can ensure that local youth grow up healthy, with the skills they need to successfully
enter the workforce.”
