— Seasoned Professional to Front Foundation’s Fundraising Programs —
WORCESTER, Mass., February 25, 2008 — Fallon Clinic
Foundation, the charitable arm of Fallon Clinic, the largest multi-specialty group
practice in central Massachusetts, has appointed a new director of fundraising and
development to spearhead the foundation’s charitable endeavors. In her new
role, Kelsa Zereski, a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), will create and
implement all fundraising programs, ensuring alignment with the foundation’s
goals and mission

“I am pleased that an experienced professional with such strong ties to the
Worcester community has joined our team in this new capacity,” said Michael
DiPierro, Managing Officer of the Fallon Clinic Foundation. “With more than
a decade of experience fundraising for organizations in Central Massachusetts, Kelsa
brings exactly the type of leadership we need to strengthen the Foundation’s
commitment to community service and charitable works.”
Zereski most recently was an independent development consultant in central Massachusetts,
working with non-profit organizations to provide leadership during transitional
periods. Prior to this role, Zereski served as a senior major gifts officer at UMass
Memorial Foundation, where she managed a portfolio of major gift prospects at both
the medical school and hospital, and assisted her team in completing a $40M capital
campaign. In addition, Zereski has held director-level fundraising positions
at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Children’s
Friend, Inc., both located in Worcester.
“Being involved with Worcester-area fundraising non-profits for the majority
of my career, I have always been impressed with Fallon Clinic’s ability to
touch so many members of the community through its exceptional medical services
and valuable community service programs,” Zereski said. “I am honored
to direct Fallon Clinic Foundation as it refines its focus of giving and cultivates
new supporters to aid in the process of bettering both our community and personal
wellness.”
Zereski received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Assumption College
in Worcester. She is a Trustee of the Nativity School of Worcester and of Seven
Hills Foundation. She also currently serves as a corporator of the American Red
Cross of Central Massachusetts, EcoTarium and Children’s Friend. Zereski
resides in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
